So I just read my sisters blog and it reminded me of a rule I created either when I was pregnant or when I just had Stella. Here is the back story...
All my sisters have (or are about to have) a baby and they are all within 2 years of each other. So obviously they are all around the same age group going through the same stages that babies go through. So one day I saw my nieces and nephews playing and everyone was having a good time then all of a sudden someone slugged someone else. I thought right away if that was Stella that just got hit I would be pissed. BUT on the flip side I couldn't be too mad at one of my nieces or nephews (I mean they are incredibly adorable) so I thought of the rule.
RULE- If your kid hits my kid I will hit you (meaning a sister.) So far so good! No one has been hit by me yet! What was funny was during Stella's baptism party my sister, Kate, quickly put Stella down to get Audrey. Then announced she did not want to get hit. (All our kids give us the stink eye when we pay attention to someone else.) I have to admit that was a smart decision on Kate's behalf! ;)
