We had a FANTASTIC 4th of July (minus the nasty weather leading up to it and the fireworks that seemed to go on all night!) Stella had the opportunity to witness an awesome firework show but decided to snooze straight through it. How kids can sleep through fireworks is beyond me. D, mom, and myself were able to enjoy it though!
Over the long weekend we were also able to take a mini vacation to Corpus Christi (before the oil spill takes it over.) Stella is not a huge fan of the beach so we only hung out for a couple hours each day. Apparently me not letting her eat the sand really ruined her time. Life is rough!
I'm ready to take another vacation!
