Push Gifts

I just submitted my choices for my push gifts from D for Gracie! Does everyone know what a push gift is? I was lucky enough to have my friend, Emily tell me when I was pregnant with Stella. It's a gift (preferably jewelry) that is given to you from your husband for carrying that precious bundle of joy for 9 LONG months.

I love love love the gift D gave me for Stella's birth. It is an amazing ring that I am still completely in love with. I haven't been able to decide on my gift for Gracie- I didn't want to get something just to get it.  I knew a necklace or watch would be nice I just couldn't seem to find anything I liked. Lucky for D I stumbled across some awesome items and I threw in a few handbags as well ;) On a side note, I do want to add that all my sister's husbands did a great job on the first and second rounds the of push gifts!

I was just telling my mom about the push gift and she was so funny. She said, 'can you imagine what your father would have picked out for me?' The answer is no I can not and that is probably the best. I saw his gifts over the years and although they (I use 'they' loosely) were lovely I am not sure they were 100% thought through! But if push gifts were as trendy back then she definitely would've loaded up on them.

As soon as I find out what the gifts are I will let you know. AND trust me I always find out before it is a 'surprise'!
