1..2..8..9..10!

That is my little counter! We started counting last week and of course Stella caught on super quick. She loves 8..9..10! She gets so excited as soon as we get to that part. It is funny that we weren't counting for any other reason then telling her to pick up her colors before her next option would be time out. But hey I'll take credit for it anyways!

Speaking of time out we started to really enforce that with her fits (which are few but dramatic). The first time I put her in time out it was her room (of course after explaining to her what she did.) I really don't care what the books and doctors say about not putting kids in their room- if I put her in the corner in a room I was in or near she wouldn't stay put. So this is how it works best for Stella. (Minor rant- sorry!) Anyways- she walked out the then I told her to go back until I come and get her- and it worked! Since then she has gone to time out 2 other times (this is all within 30 days- so seriously she isn't a crazy...yet.) Each time it works like a charm. She corrects her behavior and picks up her colors. She also is very AWARE of what time out means. Just because she's only been 3 times doesn't mean she hasn't been warned that her fits were about to land her there if she doesn't stop.

So the potty training is still going really well. I am not sure why I started this right before Gracie's arrival. I think I like to have a lot of stuff to do. But on that same note I am not brave enough to even move to pull ups quite yet. I'll get there!

Gracie News... Well she is measuring ahead of schedule so I am hoping she makes a mid to early July arrival. AND we have made very little progress on her room. I however did repaint her dresser (Stella's former) to match her room better.

If I haven't mentioned it lately we are SOOOOOO EXCITED to meet Gracie!
