Man Down

Boohoo. Tear. Sniffles. One would think I was describing Stella but that would be incorrect. I am describing myself and how sad I will be tomorrow now that D has gone back to work. Who am I going to talk to? When do I get my 30 minute breaks? Who is going to make lunch? I feel as nervous as the day we brought Stella home.

I mean he has literally been my right hand man from the second Stella was born. He has done way more than his part and is always anxious and excited to do it.I am sitting right next to him and miss him already =(

OKAY- So on to the next thing! Stella. She handled traveling like a champ on the way to Houston. We left Houston on Friday afternoon and headed to Smithville. We actually had to pull over to feed her- but it was time and heaven forbid we are late =) I don't blame her. When I am hungry I want to eat right then and there as well. It was not a big deal and only took around 30 minutes.

Every new person that met her loved her and told us what an adorable baby D and I have. DUH!!! ;) We tend to think so as well... but then again we are her parents.

I think that Stella has finally hit the 8 lb marker. D weighed her and said she is over 8 lbs. However, our way of measuring her is first stepping on the scale to see how much we weigh- then pick her up and see how much we weigh with her- then subtract. That's why I say we 'think'.

Wish me and my little friend luck this week! We are going to need it.
