Now what happened last night should have been caught on camera. I laugh out loud every time I think about what idiots D and I can be sometimes. (I had to throw him in there- he actually had nothing to do with my feeding attempt.)
I decided to try oatmeal again last night but this time with a spoon. So I made the oatmeal, put Stella in her exersaucer, and attempted to feed her. 1st spoon full went in the mouth and STAYED! I thought to myself this is easy. 2nd spoon full went in came right back out. Not worried. 3rd spoon full got knocked out of my hand as she swatted it away all over one of her toys on the exersaucer. No big deal- I'll clean it when we are done. 4th spoon full had the same fate except it went in my face when she swatted it. Then my lil monster didn't stop with that she reached for the bowl and swatted it out of my very loose grip. Okay we are done. Score- Stella 1 Mommy 0. I hate to lose.
