If Stella could listen to Katy Perry's song Firework all day everyday she would be one VERY happy girl. She LOVES that song and sings it all day very loud no matter where we are. It is hilarious and cute. I actually heard her about 4 aisles over in the grocery store (w/D) singing her song.
Her speech is becoming more clear by the day. It is easy now for others to understand her besides mommy and daddy. She talks all the time and REPEATS everything (like I mentioned before.) This repeating thing is very nerve racking as I tend to slip every now and then. And Stella is there to quickly repeat it and smile. I've learned to NOT tell her not to say something because she says it more. Dang, she is becoming more like me everyday. Stubborn as hell! HOWEVER, in my defense the first person to drop a bad word where Stella repeated it was none other than Big D! I was relieved it wasn't me as most people believed it would be and actually if we bet on it- I would have probably said me as well. Have I mentioned I have a potty mouth? =) I am becoming an excellent speller of bad words- so I figured I have bought myself some time.
Last week was spring break and Stella got to see almost all her cousins and I got to see 2 of mine! I had so much fun. The kids had a lot of fun playing together however Stella was so distracted the entire trip that we had THE worst time trying to get her to eat. She didn't want to miss out on anything so she pretty much decided to cut the whole eating thing out of her routine. That was no bueno!
