So D and I (mainly me) made a book for Stella for her 1st Year of life. It turned out great and if I knew how to post it on here for you all I would- but I don't!
I did want to share the letter we wrote to her at the beginning of the book. Happy Birthday to our precious baby girl!
Dear Stella,
I am not sure you are aware of how much we wanted you. We wished for you, begged for you, and we prayed for you. And finally you became a part of our life and our world shined brighter, because of you.
Our life basically was turned upside down when you were born. It was changed for the better, because of you.
When we first met you in the hospital we were overwhelmed with emotions. Your daddy and I took one look at each other and fell in love all over again, because of you.
You first rolled (on purpose) when you were just two months old. We were so happy about your first big mile stone and realized happiness can be found everywhere, because of you.
When you first said daddy you filled his heart with so much joy. A few weeks later you whispered mom to me and I almost cried. We smile so much more, because of you.
You learned to crawl when you were just 5 months old. It was so neat to watch you learn and practice all day until you got it. That’s you Stella. You never give up on anything. You are always determined. We are inspired, because of you.
At 9 months old I caught you walking out of the corner of my eye. I started clapping and jumping up and down and you looked at me with the biggest smile of pure pride. We recognize our accomplishments more, because of you.
Clapping became a big part of your life at 10 months after you learned how. You clap at everything. We are always laughing, because of you.
We have realized that we didn’t just want you Stella. We needed you. We get one life to live and you have made every second of ours more enjoyable each day. We love you so much. Because of you we are complete.
