Ok, I had to erase the last blog mainly due to the fact that I had no idea it published the draft instead of the final. I clearly hadn't reread that one, or finished writing it, or checked my blog after I published it.
I do not feel like rewriting Steph, Stella, and my adventures over the weekend. So instead here is a tiny summary:
I was in the car for over 12 hours. I traveled to Dallas then to Houston then back to Austin. I attended a Pickled Lily Party, listened to Steph wonder about conjugal visits as we approached and passed the prison in Huntsville (for over 2 hours), and visited my family from Colorado. Stella got an A+ for her behavior in the car. And I am pretty sure neither Stella nor I want to go on another road trip for a VERY long time.
